Welcome to Cats Protection Trafford Branch

We’re here to support cats and kittens in Trafford, covering postcodes: M17, M31, M32, M33, M41, WA13, WA14, WA15.

Run by a small team of dedicated, cat-loving volunteers, we’re passionate about improving the lives of cats and kittens in Trafford, working to find loving new homes for local cats in our care, offering support with neutering, and lost and found cats, as well as general education and awareness within the Trafford area. You can find out more about the work of Cats Protection here

Some of our volunteers have "day jobs" as well as volunteering. As a result we regret that we're unable to respond to every enquiry personally. However please be assured that we will contact you within 5 days if we'd like further information or to progress with your enquiry. If we don’t get back to you it could be for a number of reasons and we do ask people to not be offended. It is often a very difficult decision. We do understand your disappointment and really appreciate the time you take to complete a contact form.

Adopting a cat / kitten: Our homing officer will contact you if we are able to assist, and discuss everything you need to know about the cat you are interested in adopting. We request an adoption fee of £75 per adult cat (aged 6 months and over) and £95 per kitten.  All our cats and kittens are vet checked - tested for FeLV (Feline Leukaemia Virus) and F.I.V (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) if appropriate, vaccinated, including against Feline Leukaemia, neutered (if old enough - if not a neutering voucher will be provided which covers the cost of the procedure), microchipped, deflead and dewormed.  All will have been seen by a vet and are homed with four weeks free Petplan Insurance.
